Where is the choir coming from?

The limitations of Wells Cathedral mean that we cannot have more than 120 singers for the concert. Approximately 60 will come from Castle Cary Choir; the Rodillian Choir in Wakefield are sending about another 20; we already have about 20 other names from different choirs in the region who want to be involved: this makes 100 singers. Various other people from other choirs have approached us already which is good news, but there are still a few more places available if you want to take part – all you need to do is contact us through the website.

What about the orchestra? 

Steve Smith has been appointed as leader of the orchestra and has been busy recruiting instrumentalists during the past couple of months. Nearly all of the 46 the places are filled.
