The Wakefield Connection 

One of the first responses to the O&A web-site was Richard Atkinson from Wakefield who showed interest because he was organising a fund-raising concert for Muscular Dystrophy and which was to  feature Jonathan Ansell as a guest soloist. He raised the possibility of whether some singers from Wakefield could be involved in the premiere. After we had thought through logistics of Martin being based in Somerset and the Rodillian Singers being some miles away, we agreed to move forward. 

We hope to have about 20 singers from Wakefield joining the choir for both the workshop day (23rd March) and the Wells performance (13th April). If anyone would be willing to offer hospitality in Somerset to members of the Wakefield choir, please do get in touch - we would be very grateful.
